How important are human cells for your research?

The McGill University Health Centre Human Islet Transplant Laboratory is a Health Canada registered establishment. We provide persons afflicted with type 1 diabetes a viable therapeutic option for the treatment and management of this disease through the use of islet cell transplantation. Our facility is also committed in providing researchers around the world with high quality human islets.
